career explorations!

Composer –

Education & training

· To be a composer you need to have “basic” music skills, composers need to learn how to play at least one instrument it is useful to know several. Classical composers may require knowledge of other languages. But im looking to be a regular composer.

· Many colleges offer a music program. But most of them require a audition. There are no requirements to try out. Most institutions have electronic studios, providing opportunities to work with musical groups and to have compositions performed.

· It takes four year to get the necessary training. But it all depends on Witch College you go to cause most of them require 4 years but there are a couple that have 2 years. I would like to go to the four year college because I would have more experience and more training then the two years. Which means I would have a higher chance in being a composer other than someone who went to a two year college.

· All the expenses and fees for college are $32,470 per year. Which is kind of crazy but I’ll have my parents pay for all of my expenses and fees until I get a job.

Cosmetologists –

i would work I would be doing in this job would be cutting, styling and coloring hair. & doing makeup.

The full time wage would be $29,580. But you get tips for every hair you style.

A day in the life is opening up the salon, then getting all your materials ready and then just waiting for your customers. At the end of the day you would half to count your tips then you half to file paper work & close up the shop and make sure everything is put away neatly.

Education & training

· Y you need to at least of some knowledge of esthetics (skin care), and nail technician programs. There are also many private cosmetology schools. Both public and private programs range from about 6 months to 2 years in length.

· Y you need to take nail technician and esthetics programs

· It takes about two years to get the right training and skills you need to get a job at a regular salon. But to get in a fancy high pricing salon you need to have at least more skills and years of beauty school.

· It cost about 4,298 to get the right training and materials you need.

The things that interest me in a composer was that I love to work with music. & you can work with pretty much anything that inspires you and you can work with upcoming artist. Iv learned that you do work all the time. & all day. I don’t like that so much. What surprise me about the job is that you get paid that much. But I guess it’s a living. I don’t like that you half to work all day. And all night and you become a workaholic.

My first career was composer, I love music! And I think this fits me really well too. No one really in my family got me into music that much. I got myself into it I like to make music and it comes easy to me.
The dislikes about this career is that you’re always working and work late hours. The advantages are that you’re doing something you love, you get to work with famous musicians and you get paid good money. I would like to pre sue this career further.

Cosmetologist is another good one too cause I love to do makeup & hair. Cosmetologist is what I plan on doing when I’m going to school. I like that you can help other people & I like that working with people to. I also like that you get paid every two weeks & you always would have money on you cause of tips that people give you.

Fashion designer I would LOVE to do this. Ever since I was a little kid I always wanted to be a fashion designer. But now that I read into it I would rather be something else but wouldn’t mind looking into this career a little bit more. I like how you can create anything you want and all the different patterns and styles you have and you get to see the world. I don’t like that you work a lot and are always rushing to get things done.

My Halloween includes getting ready, my costume is a school girl so I get ready go trick or treating & go back home. But instead I ended drinking frbreez & throwing up everywhere in my house so instead of getting candy. I was laying in my bed sick in my room. I did go out and give little kids candy though. I had fun I guess.

My favorite Halloween costume was this kid and he had been Edward scissor hands and he was about 15 or 15. I liked his costume a lot. It was scary but classic & one of my favorite movies. It looked so realistic too.

My favorite kind of Halloween candy, is snickers, reesees lemon heads and anything ells that s good. I hate when people pass out nasty bad candy that no one eats anymore. Like there is some good candy that is old but not all of it. One time this guy for Halloween game me a hotdog. I raw uncooked hotdog it was probably one of the funniest thing I’ve ever got.

My favorite Scary movies are Halloween hands down. Or anything old school. I do like some good movies like saw I threw VI but that would be a perfect Halloween. Sitting at home just eating candy, watching old scary movies and just kickin it.

my perfect day.

my perfect day is waking up in the morning, eating the perfect breakfast sausage, eggs, orange juice, pancakes, bacon, coffee and mcgriddles and hash browns from mc Donald's. after having breakfast i would get ready for one last time.

I would buy a ticket to Hollywood and fly for about four hours. after that i would rent a limo and go to the hottest spot in Hollywood. and meet all the stars. After i meet brad Pitt,Russell brand, and other people I would go to lunch and eat a big sandwich . After i would like too see my family that lives in California. after i see them & say by I would fly back to Michigan spend most of my time with my mom & three brothers and eat my last dinner meal with them.

I would eat really expensive steak, side dishes and for dessert i would like to eat ice cream and a hot fudge brownie. then to end my night I would like to go to a club and just dance all night. That would be my perfect day.
